I went to Northbay almost exactly 2 years ago. I’ve been to a total of 8 rehabs and this one by far was the best, not because of its delicious food or nice accommodations (which it does have) but because of the environment you are in while you’re there. The staff from the techs to the therapist to even the upper management they are extremely helpful friendly and most importantly the genuinely want what’s best for you. The program itself is serious and builds good comrodary with fellow clients, strongly recommend

I am writing in support of North Bay Recovery Center. My step son has been treated there for the past two years and his life has been forever changed because of it. Beginning when he was in his early teens he has been a drug abuser. When he entered North Bay he had already been in and out of six different treatment facilities. He is now 2 years sober. North Bay understands that recovering from drug or alcohol addiction is not a 30 day process. There is a minimum 3 month commitment that can then be extended in 3 month intervals. As one moves through the different phases of the program the men are given more freedoms and more responsibilities until ultimately they are simply checking in for drug testing and to see their individual therapists. I understand that for someone to make a change that the desire needs to come from within, but I truly believe that without the help of NorthBay my stepson would not have been able to make the changes that he so desperately wanted to make.

North Bay was not like other treatment centers I have sadly been to. The medical staff bent over backwards for me, the day to day staff knowing what the addictive lifestyle is by having been there, the compassion and no nonsense all played a part in what turned out to be an experience that has helped me stop using. The friendships and memories will always be there and I plan to go back (as a visitor).

This program probably saved my son's life. I can't say enough about it. We know a lot of programs in the Bay area since he went through 6 of them before this one. The brain and spirit of these young men need time to heal and re-wire. In my experience, only long term programs are worth trying and NorthBay is place to do it: safe, professional, medically well supervised. There is no overprescribing medications that complicate the situation or make it worse. The staff is wonderful, kind and devoted.

Amazing recovery center run by true professionals who know what they're doing. I continue to refer my loved ones here and it's the most effective recovery center I've ever been involved with.

This is an amazing place for men to get healthy again. They have lovely homes for the clients with personal chefs providing a fantastic environment for the rigorous 12 step program they follow. Great people.
