I could not have received better care during my stay, but I would rate the Cafe food with 5 stars and the hosp. Food with less because of lack of seasoning. It was a little difficult to make things taste good, but the service and courtesy was the very best.

St Helena was a life changing experience for me. I was allowed to focus on my growth, my issues, make peace in my life. I'm ashamed at Adventist Health for closing this facility. There is such a need for this facility and it helps so many. When I arrived there were 14 of us, when I left there were over 35. Is there not a way to fund raise? Addiction is a terrible disease, many relapse with often deadly results. The environment St Helena provided was warm, conforting, healing. Daily AA NA meetings testimonies, art, music, sponsors counselors. I'm disappointed in this "faith based" hospital, there is always a way to help people to help themselves. To give a hand up instead of hand out (which just keeps folks in their place).... I'm not perfect, I've fallen, but I pick my self up and hold my head high... because I was able to benefit from my counselor Mike, director Connie, and so many that kept me safe and my spirits up. God speed St Helena- may you rise like the Phoenix soon!

My wife had a procedure done here at the hospital. We were a bit worried in the beginning but then the staff was kind and loving by giving us instructions and directions. She had a massage the morning before the operation along with a sweet prayer. The doctor did a wonderful job and my wife recovered fully in two weeks. Very impressed about the post operation visits to their clinics that are very clean and professional with no wait times.
